The NCB Bank API developer portal contains a wealth of information about our ready APIs. Take some time familiarizing yourself with the portal before starting to build your apps.

How to Use

Registration

To use our API products, just create a Developer account.

Creating an account is quick and easy:

  • Click on .
  • Fill in the form with your details, then click on Create an account.
  • You will receive an email with an activation link. Click the link, and you are ready to go!

Explore API Products

You can experience our APIs by selecting API from the list. From here you can navigate to the underlying API Overview pages or Use cases. Next, go to the Documentation pages for detailed technical information.

To use an NCB Bank API in the sandbox environment, or develop your idea into production, you must have the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret. The sandbox environment is where you test the functionality of an API.

To create an application:

  • Log in to your account.
  • In the top navigation bar, click Apps.
  • Click Add app.
  • In the App name field, enter a name for your application.
  • In the API product field, select the API product that you want to use, and click Add app. After successfully adding an application, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret for that application are automatically generated. API key will be used after being approved by admin.
  • In the application list associated with your team, select the application that you want to view.
  • In the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret fields, toggle visibility to see values or click Copy to copy values to your own note.
  • If you want to create new credentials, click Add Key.
  • In the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret fields, toggle visibility to see values or click Copy to copy values.

Authentication

The authentication for this API is done on the basis of access token. To obtain an access token, you need to call our OAuth API. The authentication mechanism can vary per API depending on the required level of authentication.
