1. Check customer eligibility for secured loan journey

API 

GET /get-savings-account-for-loan-by-cif

Purpose

To verify whether the customer has eligible savings accounts before entering the secured loan or overdraft application journey.

Scenario

A customer starts a secured loan or overdraft application from a digital channel. The channel needs to check whether the customer owns eligible VND online savings accounts that can be used as collateral before allowing the customer to continue.

System action

  • The channel system triggers the
    /get-savings-account-for-loan-by-cif API with the customer's CIF.
  • The service retrieves the customer's savings accounts from the banking system.
  • The channel checks whether the customer has eligible savings accounts based on business rules:
    • Savings account currency is VND.
    • Savings account channel is Online.
      • If eligible savings accounts exist:
        • Display the option to apply for saving loan/OD.
        • The channel allows the customer to continue the secured loan journey.
      • If no eligible savings accounts exist:
        • The channel prevents the customer from entering the secured loan journey.

Outcome

The customer's eligibility is determined successfully, allowing eligible customers to proceed with secured loan application.

2. Display savings accounts for collateral selection

API

GET /get-savings-account-for-loan-by-cif

Purpose

To retrieve and display customer's eligible savings accounts, allowing customers to select one or multiple savings accounts as collateral for secured loans or overdraft facilities.

Scenario

A customer passes the AML check and proceeds with the secured loan application. The customer needs to view available savings accounts and select savings accounts to use as collateral.

System action

  • The channel system invokes the
    /get-savings-account-for-loan-by-cif API with the customer's CIF.
  • The service retrieves the customer's eligible savings accounts.
  • The channel filters and displays the eligible savings account list.
  • The customer selects one or multiple savings accounts as collateral for the loan application.

Outcome

The customer successfully views and selects eligible savings accounts for collateral registration.
